The shower room. Another source of amusement. The faucet over the sink was hinged and served as the faucet for both the sink and the tub. The shower head (hanging on the faucet) had no where else to live/mount. This presents a problem to the American visitor, as we have no idea how to soap up while holding the fire hose of a shower head. Perhaps we are supposed to turn off the water while soaping? In any event, this turned out to be a non-issue for me because the hot water was out (very very common in St. Petersburg) the entire time I was there and the cold water seemed to run about 32.1F so there was no way I was going to try and shower.
